Study notes
A summary of what the chapter covers and why it matters for this course, then 500 to 900 words of notes in plain language with every fact kept. Ends with the five questions the test is most likely to ask.
Terms to define
The five to eight terms, people, or events you need to be able to explain without looking. Good for the walk to class.
Self-check quiz
Eight multiple choice questions per reading with plausible wrong answers. Miss one and you get the explanation, not just the letter. Best score saves to your account and shows on the card.

What it is not
The notes are study summaries, not the textbook. Open the real chapter through Canvas. The quizzes check that you read; they do not replace the one your instructor gives.
