You should not have to build your own study material at 11 pm. Each assigned reading on your plan already has one.
Study notes
A summary of what the chapter covers and why it matters for this course, then 500 to 900 words of notes in plain language with every fact kept. Ends with the five questions the test is most likely to ask.
Terms to define
The five to eight terms, people, or events you need to be able to explain without looking. Good for the walk to class.
Self-check quiz
Eight multiple choice questions per reading with plausible wrong answers. Miss one and you get the explanation, not just the letter. Best score saves to your account and shows on the card.
The Quizzes tab
One card per reading, your best score on each, grouped by course. The readings themselves come from your syllabus and Canvas, which is how the plan on how it works gets built. Pair it with the study schedule guide to decide which quiz to take on which night.

What it is not
The notes are study summaries, not the textbook. Open the real chapter through Canvas. The quizzes check that you read; they do not replace the one your instructor gives.
